Introducing Conductor 4 for PCB Prototyping with V-One
Today we are introducing Voltera Conductor 4, our new silver ink for the V-One PCB printer. If you've been printing PCBs with V-One for a while, you know that the ink in your cartridge does a lot of heavy lifting. It has to print cleanly, cure reliably, solder well, and hold up to the demands of a real prototyping workflow. Conductor 4 does just that.
What is Conductor 4?
Conductor 4 is a high-conductivity silver nanoparticle ink formulated for fine-line deposition on rigid PCB substrates. It's optimized for V-One and designed to work with the materials and workflows V-One users already rely on — FR1, FR4, tin-bismuth solder, and the V-One software cure profiles.


At 80% w/w silver content with 80 nm silver particles, it's built to deliver consistent, conductive traces from the first print.
What’s improved
Solderability
The primary improvement over Conductor 3 is solderability. In practice, this means more reliable solder joints the first time, with less rework, fewer cold joints, and more confidence when you’re placing fine-pitch components or working with 0402 packages. If you’ve ever chased down a cold solder connection on a hand-soldered prototype, you know how much time that costs. Conductor 4 reduces that risk.
Water and alcohol resistance
Water and alcohol resistance after curing is the kind of property that doesn’t matter until it does. During assembly, boards are often cleaned with isopropyl alcohol to remove flux residue after soldering. If your traces aren’t resistant to that cleaning step, you’re introducing a failure point into a process that should be routine. With Conductor 4, cleaning down a board after reflow doesn’t mean compromising the traces underneath.
High silver content
At 80% w/w with 80 nm silver nanoparticles, Conductor 4 is built for high conductivity. The particle size matters here: smaller particles can pack more densely when sintered, which can support lower resistivity and more consistent trace performance across a board.
For signal-sensitive designs, such as antenna traces, Bluetooth/Wi-Fi modules, impedance-controlled lines, power regulation circuits, and low-current sensing, that consistency isn't a nice-to-have — it's the difference between a prototype that behaves the way your schematic predicts and one that doesn't.
